Dubai: The 59club MEA Annual Service Excellence Awards recently took place in a glittering ceremony at the Els Club in Dubai.
A day that began with a nine-hole Team Scamble among the teams on the golf course, ended with a scintillating awards ceremony as the market-leading performance management specialist continued to honor its top players from across the region for achieving the highest standards of sales and customer service. excellence throughout 2021.
Winners of the 59club MEA Service Excellence Awards are determined by scores collected during their purchase audits, which assess the experience provided to visiting golfers and prospective members against objective benchmarks over a 12-month period. . The 59club MEA presented 23 awards, recognizing “Service Excellence” in all areas of the business – Sales, Service, Operations, Retail, Golf, Catering and Membership.
For one property there was a special celebration as Yas Links, Abu Dhabi scooped four awards after winning Golf Agronomy Team of the Year, Golf Operations Team of the Year, the Gold Flag designation and the night’s main award, the Ultimate Service Excellence Award.

Other teams honored at the evening were Saadiyat Beach Golf Club which received the Retail Golf Team of the Year award, Els Club of Dubai which won the Membership Team at the Golf of the Year and Dubai Montgomerie Golf Club which won the Food and Beverage Team of the Year.
As Trump International Golf Club, Dubai repeated its success from last year to receive the My59 Service Excellence Award for its continued commitment to engaging, analyzing and enriching the experience of its members and guests, using a guaranteed of survey tools on the 59club software platform.
The final awards of the evening and always a highlight of the proceedings saw the 59club MEA present their industry benchmark of excellence – these are Gold, Silver and Bronze Flag designations. These highly prized accolades recognize properties that offer excellent facilities for golfers, as well as the level of customer service required throughout the year.
