Who is playing on TNT tonight? Schedules, matchups for NHL action Tuesday night

NHL action on TNT arrives a day earlier this week, as the network is set to air a doubleheader on Tuesday night.

The top spot on TNT is a star power game, as Connor McDavid and the Oilers travel to Florida to face Nikita Kucherov and the Tampa Bay Lightning. After the Oilers-Lightning game, there will be a Western Conference contest between the Predators and the Kraken in Seattle.

The Oilers are 7-5-0 this season, thanks in part to a five-game winning streak to end October and start November. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl continue to play on easy mode as the pair are the league’s No. 1 and 2 in points with 25 and 23, respectively. They come into the game against the Lightning having lost the last two times.

Tampa Bay’s slow start to the year is in the rearview mirror. After a 1-3-0 start, the team has won six of its last eight games and also picked up a point in one of the losses. Kucherov is coming off a four-point night on Saturday, bringing his total points to 20 this season.

The Predators didn’t have the best start to the season, entering the game against the Kraken with a 5-6-1 record. The team is coming off back-to-back victories, winning back-to-back games for the first time this season since the first two games. Filip Forsberg leads the team in points with 12.

Meanwhile, the Kraken enter Tuesday with a 7-4-2 record and are riding a four-game winning streak and have won five of their last six games. Andre Burakovsky and Jaden Schwartz are tied for the team lead with 10 points apiece, while rookie Matty Beniers has recorded nine.
