Earlville Cruise Night returns for a 19th year

Earlville Cruise Night returns for its 19th year. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. next Saturday, March 14.

Event organizer Ken Zink says there’s a five-dollar entry fee, but it’s for a scholarship. He says the scholarship is for students who want to take up skilled jobs.

Event organizer Kevin Zollars said the scholarship was offered by the Earlville Business Association, which also helps organize the night cruise. Other events include carriage rides, music, food. Zink says there will also be a free car inspection through the National Street Rod Association.

Another event organizer, Kevin Zollars, says the event is fun because it has a small-town feel and is open to the community. He says the t-shirts sold this year will have a rare Oldsmobile with a transparent hood that shows off the engine.

A goodie bag will also be distributed allowing 25 owners to have their picture taken by the professionals of the KZ studios directed by Ken Zink.

Zink also says that due to a family issue, Buttons the Clown won’t be able to make it this year.
