CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET MONDAY NIGHT TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON WARD BOUNDARY CHANGES

Crookston City Council will meet Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) will first hold a special meeting at 6.45pm to discuss debt approval for August.

The meeting will begin with a presentation of the Town of Crookston’s audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2021.

The consent agenda will include the approval of City Council at its August 8 meeting and the approval of invoices and disbursements from the Town of Crookston in the amount of $280,481.67.

The regular agenda will include a resolution to approve the boundaries of the City of Crookston redistricting wards and to convene a public hearing regarding the amendment to Chapter 11 of the city code titled “Ward Boundaries”, then the introduction of variation order by amending Article 11.01 “Ward Boundaries”. The borders.” The final items on the agenda will be to approve two power line easements for Ottertail Power Company for the water plant and Ag Innovation.

The Crookston Ways & Means committee will then meet after the council meeting to discuss budgets for the council, mayor, city administrator, finance department, election, audit, legal department and of the EDA.

The next meeting of the municipal council will take place on Monday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. inside the council chambers of the town hall.
